So Sue Me's Wedding Stationery
We are so excited to finally be able to share this with you. So... just when you thought our invitations couldn’t get more gorgeous this insanely beautiful invitation suite comes along.
We absolutely loved working on this gorgeous regal romantic suite for Suzanne Jackson and Dylan O'Connor's stunning summer wedding in Powerscourt Hotel. The name of the suite couldn't be more fitting, Polished Elegance.
Suzanne and Dylan came to us with a vision for their wedding stationery.
"In a nutshell, we wanted our invites to be classy, timeless and quite regal looking. I love wedding invites that have that feel, so we really wanted ours to have it as well."
The invitation is quietly elegant and we just love the delicate nuances of this soft, romantic suite. The rose gold foil intricate border and typography complimented each other perfectly. A dark grey simplistic font was used for the remainder of the text on the invitation to allow for the foil text to make a statement.
They customised the design with a stunning calligraphy style monogram of their initials which really captured the look they were after. The custom pocketfold with an white exterior and a soft pink interior tied the whole suite together.
Included in the invitation suite was a directions card, RSVP card and a timeline of the day which showcased a dark grey flourish along the top and hand drawn illustrations of the events occuring during the day. For the accommodation card the couple chose to use soft pink flourishes which really helped to bring together all the colours in the suite.
One of our favourite elements of this suite is the quote the couple chose. A love quote adds a personal twist to any invitation and this one just happens to be one of the best. The quote encased in rose gold foil flourish adds an enchanted feel to the invitation.
The invitation suite was finished off with a stunning gold foil flourish on the envelope liner of an ivory envelope to complete the look.
For the 'On the Day' stationery keeping with the same theme the couple decided on an elongated delicate style menu. Menu's are a really elegant addition to any wedding plus they add an extra touch of class. They also chose a multiple page ceremony booklet using the same gold foil border as their invitations. Ceremony booklets help to make your guests feel more included in your special day and provide a keepsake of the event.
Mr & Mrs O'Connor got creative using some signs at their wedding ceremony, in keeping with the romantic regal theme of course. A table seating plan, table names and place cards were all used at the ceremony and really helped to pull all of the pieces together beautifully.
We seriously love what we do, especially when we get to work with such creative brides to create the most amazing pieces! If you love this design as much as we do you can check it out over on our shop.
Congratulations again to the beautiful Suzanne and Dylan from all the girls here at Appleberry Press!
